Did You Know that WeAreTeachers Posts Daily Writing Prompts, Math Problems, and More?

We know it’s not always easy to gather daily prompts, math problems, quotes, and historical details for your morning meetings. We also know that sometimes you need to break up the day with a prompt, question, or dance video to get the wiggles out. That’s why we created the Daily Classroom Resources hub. Bookmark it and visit daily or as needed to find unique content, perfect for students in grades 3-5 (we will be adding younger grade resources soon!). It lives on our kid-friendly template which is free of ads, so you can feel safe letting your students explore the links as well.

Each day we will feature four prompts, to be rotated throughout the week:

Each category comes with benefits and ways to further the education.

Today’s Events & Happenings in History

Students can review what happened on today’s date, in years gone past. Have them extend the learning by exploring our links to relevant videos, questions, or prompts about these historical events.

Today’s Awesome Person in History

Students will learn about famous people from past and present. Invite them to learn more by exploring our links to relevant videos, questions, or prompts about these figures.

Wonderful Word of the Day

Challenge students to use the word in a sentence or even create a vocabulary wall!

Would You Rather?

Have students share their answers aloud or document their responses. Extend the learning by having a debate or creating a graphic response to show the results!

Joke of the Day

Writing Prompt of the Day
